The 7th China International Import Expo, a major international exhibition hosted by China, was held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10, 2024. Li Qiang, Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.
The CIIE aims to boost global trade and economic development, facilitate international cooperation and exchanges. It showcases the development achievements of various countries in economy, culture, science and technology, provides global enterprises with opportunities to enter the Chinese market, and promotes international trade and investment.
Covering a total exhibition area of over 420,000 square meters, the 7th CIIE welcomed the participation of 152 countries, regions and international organizations in the Country Exhibition and Enterprise Exhibition. Exhibitors from the United States, Japan, Germany, France, the United Kingdom and other countries maintained a leading position in terms of exhibition scale. This edition of the expo gathered numerous top global enterprises, including 297 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders—a record high. Both the number of participating countries (regions) and enterprises exceeded those of the previous edition. Nearly 800 purchasing groups from various countries attended the event, hitting a new high in all previous editions中国国际进口博览会.
Located in the core area of the exhibition venue, the China Pavilion featured an exquisite design and rich content. Through diverse exhibition items and innovative interactive experiences, it demonstrated China’s economic strength, cultural charm and scientific and technological achievements to the world.
EPTE’s professional system power distribution solutions provided stable and continuous power supply for the China Pavilion. High-power equipment such as LED large screens, lighting systems, audio equipment and interactive devices, as well as high-tech exhibits including VR/AR equipment and intelligent robots, were all perfectly presented and displayed.
