The League of Legends World Championship sets extremely high demands for the stability of power supply. Any power fluctuation or interruption may lead to live broadcast disruptions, equipment damage or match suspensions. In 2020, EPTE was honored to once again support the holding of the LPL S-Tier Tournament Finals in Shanghai. This marked the second time that China hosted the World Championship, with the first one in 2017.

Transaction Process
2020, the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, saw stringent government regulations on large-scale events. The League of Legends World Championship was held at the Oriental Sports Center in Shanghai, China—a brand-new, expansive venue. On-site, thousands of lighting fixtures and thousands of square meters of LED screens were deployed, with the total power load reaching nearly 2000 kilowatts. Backed by its stellar global reputation and technical prowess, CT (CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY) was appointed as the primary AV equipment supplier for this event.
EPTE has partnered with CT Shanghai for more than five years, and its product quality and services have won full recognition from CT’s technical team, forging a sound and stable cooperative relationship between the two parties. It can be said that EPTE’s products are featured in all major commercial events undertaken by CT China. Unsurprisingly, CT awarded the order to EPTE for this League of Legends World Championship as well.
